Description

We welcome you to Union Baptist Church for our annual Vacation Bible School. We want to share the love of our Savior with you and your children and grandchildren (great grands too). We will have a lot of fun during the week with stage dramas, science, crafts, and great Bible lessons from the Answers in Genesis group.

From the lush meadows of its countryside to the cobblestone streets of its cities, there is something to delight the senses everywhere we turn in Ireland. So, journey with us to Emerald Crossing: An Irish Adventure Through Psalm 23. Every stop along our path will teach us about the Good Shepherd and how He cares for His sheep.

Like David discovered throughout his life, first as a shepherd and later as a king, we’ll discover important truths such as:
• I can be a child of God and have the Lord as my shepherd.
• I need the Lord to lead me on the right path through His Word.
• I can turn to the Lord for comfort when I’m feeling anxious or afraid.
• I can have an attitude of gratitude in every situation.
• I need to be on the lookout for God’s goodness and mercy, my traveling companions through life

As a reminder, we will serve a light meal between 5:00 and 5:50 PM (typically items such as spaghetti, tacos, burgers, hot dogs, pizza, chicken alfredo). Then we line up and head to the Sanctuary to start the fun. Please allow a little time before you eat to take a picture at the backdrop. We will print them and hand them out on the last evening with a themed card frame. We will mail them to those who are unable to come on the last night if we have a good address. We will keep the goodies in the office for you to pick up.

We look forward to seeing you at our kickoff event on Saturday, June 13 starting at 11:00 AM. We will have food, games, probably a slide... Come have fun!
